Clothing stays in contact with our skin for hours every day, making the materials we choose worth considering.
Organic cotton is grown under standards that restrict many synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, reducing unnecessary chemical inputs and supporting healthier agricultural environments. For the finished garment, responsible dyes, processing and manufacturing matter just as much as the fibre itself.
Natural cotton is also soft, breathable and comfortable against the skin, making it well suited for everyday wear.
For us, organic clothing is therefore about something simple: choosing materials that feel good on the body while treating the people and ecosystems behind them with greater care.
The Story Behind our Design
A living world, carried on your back.
The artwork on the back of every Bhramari piece tells the story of connection.
At its center is the bee—small in size, yet essential to the balance of life. Around it, flowers, leaves, water, mountains, birds, the sun and the moon form one living landscape. Each element represents a different part of nature, but none of them exists alone. Together, they create an ecosystem in which every species supports the whole.
The flowing lines reflect movement: water through the land, air through the forest and life passing from one organism to another. The plants symbolize growth and regeneration, while the mountains represent stability and endurance. The sun and moon remind us of the natural rhythms that continue beyond the pace of human life.
We placed this design on the back intentionally. It is a message carried into the world—not only for the person wearing it, but for everyone walking behind them.
The artwork is meant to awaken curiosity and gently remind us that biodiversity is not something distant. It surrounds us, sustains us and forms the foundation of our own wellbeing.
Bhramari stands for a way of living in which human life is no longer separated from nature. Protecting wild bees means protecting plants, habitats, food systems and the countless relationships that keep our planet alive.

For our clothing, we work with Native Spirit, a brand that places sustainability, responsible production and transparency at the heart of its collections. Their garments are made primarily from carefully selected materials such as certified organic cotton and recycled fibres. Depending on the individual product, recognised standards such as GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 may apply.
These standards help support more responsible sourcing, verified recycled content and testing for harmful substances. The result is high-quality, durable clothing designed to provide a more conscious foundation for every Bhramari piece.
